Bayleys Canterbury
Plate Up for a Purpose 2025

A month of meals that mattered. A community impact that lasts.

Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose supports the Christchurch City Mission's Back to School programme. It provides school shoes, school uniform and stationery packs to whānau and rangitahi across the region in need.

I joined the campaign as Project Manager, leading hospitality engagement and supporting the Bayleys Canterbury marketing team to deliver a high-impact, high-heart campaign.

  • Dates: 1–30 September 2025

    Region: Waitaha Canterbury

    Partners: The Press, Hospitality NZ

Hospitality venues across Waitaha, Canterbury created a feature dish and donated proceeds to the Christchurch City Mission’s Back to School Programme.

  • $775,000+ raised, helping provide:
    • 1,700+ school uniforms
    • 1,200+ stationery packs
    • 1,500+ pairs of school shoes
    • 1,400+ families supported

  • I led venue recruitment, relationship management and campaign support — working alongside hospitality teams and the Bayleys marketing team to make participation easy, meaningful and motivating.

  • • 16% growth in venue participation
    • 50 hospitality partners activated
    • Additional media partnership value secured
    • Front-of-house teams empowered as campaign champions
$101,084 raised in 2025 across campaign and Bayleys Canterbury Golf Day

  • This project sits very close to my heart. It’s the perfect example of what happens when a brand that cares deeply and communities move together with purpose.
